Hello dear friends, decided to go with a new layout for the New Year.
Anyhoo, if you are reading this, please text me your number as I lost
my phone this past weekend rolling around a park in SF. My number is
still (469) 387-5199, it turns out that some Mexican doode recovered
my phone and decided to make a few calls to his native land of Mexico.
Wot a focking beener; I will however gladly accept this form of Karma
and laugh it off because life is beautiful.
The weather today is looking "incredible"; Low temperatures, grey skies accompanied by a conglomerate of storm clouds = snow precipitation at Big Bear mountain which equates to me taking the day off tomorrow or Thursday to go shredding! I will be purchasing a season pass for the 07/08 season so make sure to come visit anytime then and we'll go boarding!

| Ok, I need to fucking vent. It is Tuesday in the afternoon here at work, I am swamped with assigments since I took 2 days off for Keystone. Work sucks because I got called in and reprimanded for not being responsible and efficient, which is partially true but not entirely (details too personal for xanga) but today's not a good day to tell me off because I got my fucking snowboard stolen last Sun.
I'm in a fucking terrible mood right now, hence I'm going to put everything aside and write about it on xanga, which I don't often do. Most of you reading might sneak a giggle or two in before actually feeling bad that I got my snowboard stolen, which is quite aright since I will agree with you that KARMA is a fucking bitch.
I must admit that I took the loss of my snowboard rather well until today, so allow to me specifically explain why I'm extremely pissed. I'm not so much bothered by the monetary value of my whole setup but more by the time and effort I put in seeking out the specific and rare components for a board that would be best suited for my size and style of riding.
1.) This is my first board, which I paid a fair amount for and was only able to enjoy for a day 2.) I'm supposed to go boarding in Lake Tahoe early Jan 3.) I grew really attached to my board and would not hesitate dropping $1000 just to be able to purchase the same exact setup but the board is an 06
and the stomp pad only comes free with the purchase of DC boots. My hookup with Burton only permits me to buy one set of bindings hence, I would have to pay retail if I wanted to get the same bindings 5.) My whole trip was ruined because I was unable to go night skiing that same night and still had a day left on my lift ticket. I was stranded with the option of having to rent or purchase a brand new board & etc, which were both unfeasible because a whole new board can cost upwards of hundreds to the thousand dollar mark and I wasn't gonna spend that money just to be able to board the next day. 6.) So I ended up paying $37.85 on my last day to rent a shitty board that was too short, too narrow and did not fit my boots even tho that was the best setup the rental shop could put together for me. 7.) I bought this board with the intent of having the board pay for itself since I will not longer have to rent but I guess that notion can flush itself down the toilet. 8.) Returning home with an empty boardbag is quite the depressing feeling.
All in all, the ski trip was still a blast and even tho today has turned out to be a terrible day but no worries since everybody has their bad days. Consequently, worst things coulda happened and I should be appeased knowing that a snowboard is replaceable.
Merry Christmas to all reading this and those in Dallas need to take note because we betta get crunk when I get into town next Friday!
Love you all, Jon Wang, JW, Wang, JDub...
